Jessica Simpson up about abusive relationships during her concert Thursday night (March 12) in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion, US Weekly reports.
Before launching into "Remember That" — a song that contains the lyrics, "It doesn’t matter how he hurts you/ With his hands or with his words/ You don’t deserve it" — she told her fans to "run so far away" from any abusive situations.
The singer — who has previously talked about being in an abusive relationship — added, "In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there [in the relationship]. No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away."
During the show, she also confessed to more relationship woes before singing "Still Don’t Stop Me." "After I wrote that song, I was mad at myself for being so weak and I got over that guy!" she said, after explaining it was written for "a guy that I couldn’t get over."
In 2008, Simpson spoke to Elle magazine about her abusive relationship, but didn’t specify if she had been physically or emotionally abused. "I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run."

Lindsay Lohan’s Lawyer Says Arrest Warrant Is A ‘Misunderstanding’

Police investigate disturbance at Lohan friend Sam Ronson’s house Saturday, but leave without apprehending Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, released a statement on Saturday (March 14) about the warrant for the actress’ arrest, calling the situation a "misunderstanding."
"Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the court," the statement reads, according to People.com. "The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week."
A hearing for Lohan is set for Monday morning in a Beverly Hills, California, court, the site reported. "The judge apparently has indicated that Ms. Lohan should be in attendance," said Los Angeles District Attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons. Lohan, 22, is serving a three-year probation term for a 2007 DUI incident.
"We are not actively looking for Ms. Lohan at this time," Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Mark Rosen said at a Saturday press conference. "We are not anticipating her surrender this weekend. But if she comes in contact with police, she’s subject to arrest. As for why we’re not actively looking for her, that’s not our procedure for this type of warrant. Her attorney is hoping to resolve this issue in the coming week. If it’s not resolved, I’m sure we’ll negotiate her voluntary surrender."
Gibbons said the hearing "apparently has something to do with Ms. Lohan’s probation. We don’t know exactly what it’s about. The court contacted the defense directly, not us." Unidentified sources reportedly told TMZ.com that the warrant was issued after Lohan failed to comply with the terms of her probation, specifically with regard to an alcohol-education program in which she is enrolled.
TMZ also reported that police were called to Lohan’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house after a disturbance involving a broken window was reported on Saturday, but left without apprehending Lohan. The actress reportedly spent Friday evening with friends at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, and then the group made a late-night visit to the house of Jack Nicholson.
The Beverly Hills Police Department reportedly released the following statement regarding the warrant on Friday evening: "In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner."
In August 2007, Lohan pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine), and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She served 84 minutes in jail in November 2007 and was placed on three years probation and ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program.

Lady Gaga’s Pop Revolution Continues With ‘LoveGame’

March 15, 2009 by musicdrasr

Lady Gaga kicked off her Fame Ball tour (which we’re not supposed to call a "tour," remember?) on Thursday night in San Diego. And by all accounts, she more than lived up to her promise of giving fans a "life-changing experience."

And she’s not stopping there. Building on the success of singles like "Just Dance" and "Poker Face," Gaga recently unveiled her new clip, for the song "LoveGame," which, to hear her tell it, is just the next step in her plan to conquer the world with pop music.

"This is all part of a movement. My artistry is much deeper than fashion or anything like that: I love pop music, and I want to bring it back," she told MTV News. "People are truly hungry for this. They generally miss the ’90s and the superfans flooding Times Square, crying and wailing and doing anything to see the fingernail of a star. I want that back, and [the 'LoveGame' video] is just another move towards that.

" ‘LoveGame’ is a genuine New York lifestyle video. It’s got that feeling of ‘gay, black New York,’ of inclusion and glamour," she continued. "I wanted to really bring forth the girl that I was four years ago, and I wanted to put it in the setting of the underground subway. I worked with Joseph Kahn, and he did an amazing job. He didn’t just capture the fashion; he captured the artist."

And at the moment, that artist can do no wrong. Earlier this week, "LoveGame" leapt into the Billboard Hot 100, giving Gaga three singles on the chart ("Poker Face" and "Just Dance" are in the top 10). And when you consider the string of sold-out dates on the Fame Ball, it appears that Gaga’s vision of a pop-powered future might actually become a reality.

"We all used to believe in that very artistic lie that pop music tells. And we want to believe in that again," she said. "And it is back. I promise you. It’s happening right now. My work is honest and strong, and I couldn’t be more happy to see it reach so many people. There’s really nothing else I can say."

Back on My B.S. is the eighth studio album from rapper Busta Rhymes. It is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2009.

Background

The album was originally going to be called Before Hell Freezes Over, but went through several name changes (including Back on My Bullshit, Blessed, and B.O.M.B.) before being finalized as Back on My B.S.. Additionally, the release date was originally planned for December 4, 2007; however, several delays lead to the eventual scheduled launch date of May 19, 2009.

Guests

During an interview with MTV News Busta Rhymes mentioned that he will be working with longtime collaborators as well as some people he’s never had the chance to work with before. He said:

You’re gonna get your traditional Busta Rhymes and Pharrell collabo. My man Focus from the Aftermath crew; Dr. Dre; the late, great J Dilla got work on the album. It’s gonna be great — look forward to the new bang-out.

During an interview with FLOW 93.5 in Toronto, Kardinal Offishall stated that he will appear on a track which will also feature Akon.

At a private listening session in Manhattan, Busta announced that guest appearances would include Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Common, Nicole Scherzinger, Akon, T.I., Lil Wayne, Ludacris, The Game, Linkin Park, T-Pain amongst others.

DOWNLOAD RARE ALBUMS – Billy Ray Cyrus– HERE

Back to Tennessee is the eleventh studio album released from country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The album will be released on April 7, 2009, on Lyric Street Records. It is also the follow-up album to 2007s Home at Last. Originally planned to be released in July 2008, the album pushed to new release dates five times. "Somebody Said a Prayer" was released as the album’s lead-off single, and was a top 40 hit on the country charts in late 2008. It was followed by the title track. Also on the album is "Butterfly Fly Away", a duet with daughter Miley Cyrus. The song is also on the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack.

Singles

"Somebody Said a Prayer"

The albums first single, "Somebody Said a Prayer", was released to radio on August 16, 2008, where it debuted at 53 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Due to success of its preceder, "Ready, Set, Don’t Go", critics were expecting the song to be Cyrus’ solo comback to country music. The beginning of its chart run started off strong, however, the single only spent 15 weeks on the chart, only reaching 33 in November 2008.

"Somebody Said a Prayer" was also made into a music video, directed by Roman White. It was then released to Country Music Television and Great American Country in September 2008.

"Back to Tennessee"

The title track to the album was then released as the second single on February 2, 2009. However, the song entered the charts for the week of March 24, 2009, where it entered at #59. That same week, Cyrus’ daughter, Miley Cyrus, charted her first solo country single. "The Climb" also entered for the week of March 24, at 48. The music video for "Back to Tennessee" is currently being shot.
